Scorpion Mercedes A45 AMG Cat-Back Exhaust System

Since the invention of the first internal combustion engine powered car Mercedes have enjoyed success across numerous forms of motorsport most significantly in the 50’s with the original silver arrows winning back-to-back championships in Formula 1 and more recently in the 2000’s winning seven consecutive constructors and drivers titles. Always keen to pass on the knowledge gained through motorsport to their road range of vehicles saw them work with AMG to develop fast road variants of their standard range. Scorpion have a long history of producing performance exhausts for Mercedes models since the early 90’s right from the C 36 AMG through to the current entry level A35 AMG. 

Our leading technicians have developed through rigorous trial and testing a 76mm/3” Cat-back system(s) for the Mercedes A-Class A45 AMG. Our precision engineered exhausts utilise our prestigious track to road technology and research, this gives our development engineers the ability to transfer and share race proven technologies with our road going customers. Fabricated using premium high thermal tolerance T304 motorsport grade stainless steel tube that will endure through the harshest of conditions.

We offer a valved option which uses the original motor and can be operated by the driver with the drive mode select button inside the car, retaining all original functionality.

Shaping our large bore pipework using CNC Mandrel bent construction unleashes yet untapped performance by allowing a greater flow of exhaust gas to pass through the system with less obstruction. This often results in our exhausts providing a sharper throttle response and a measurable increase in BHP. Our manufacturing process also yields weight-saving gains when compared to the OE system. With all these improvements packed into our exhausts it’s no-wonder that upgrading with Scorpion has been described as, taking the driving experience to the next level!

This system fits to the original in-built OEM tailpipes in the rear diffuser.
